Heather L. Schrick, Attorney at Law
Heather was raised in a small town in Kansas. Heather was a die-hard athlete and received top honors as an athlete and also academically.
Heather chose to attend college at Kansas State University (KSU) in Manhattan, Kansas. While at KSU, Heather was on The Dean’s List Honor Roll. Heather was also a member of the Delta Delta Delta (Tri-Delt) sorority. She was inspired by her parents to help others in need and was involved in community service such as Habitat for Humanity, Boys and Girls Club, Meals on Wheels, and was a group leader for many years for her hometown Vacation Bible School for children. Heather chose to leave KSU her sophomore year, and moved to Los Angeles, California, where she pursued modeling and acting. After a few years in California, she returned to Topeka and graduated with a major in Psychology from Washburn University. While at Washburn, Heather was a member of Mortar Board,
Psi Chi National Honor Society for Psychology, and the President's Honor Program.
Heather enrolled at Washburn University School of Law and was a Dawson Scholar. While attending law school, she was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, Women’s Legal Society, and Christian’s Legal Society. Heather was a judicial intern to Kansas District Judge Michael Ireland and was also a law clerk in Lawrence, Kansas. Heather graduated from Washburn University School of Law and then proceeded to pass the Kansas Bar Examination.
Heather is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, The Topeka Bar Association, and is active on the Shawnee County Family Law Guidelines Committee. Heather is a strong advocate for children and also does work as a (GAL) Guardian Ad Litem for many cases.
